1/2 BE have been very busy over the past 2 weeks making their paper mache globes. Here they are:
From making our globes we learnt several things:
* The countries in the world are: South America, Africa, Antarctica, Australia, Europe, Asia and North America.
*There is an invisible line around the middle of the globe called the equator. The weather near the equator is very hot.
*There are seven continents in the world.
* The world is divided into two hemispheres, the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.

We then made our own worlds with hands coming out of of the bottom, to show that it is our job to look after the Earth.
