Then and Now

Today we looked at some pictures of Springvale in the past.

We used these pictures to help us draw charcoal images of the past. We then on the other side drew what the present looks like.

Dinosaur Show!

Dinosaur Show

On Thursday the 10th of September all the 1/2s and 3/4s walked to the Springvale Town Hall to watch a dinosaur show. We went there because we are learning about the past.

First we walked over to Springvale Town Hall. It was very hot as we were walking because the sun was shining. We went inside and we saw a giant stage with smoke, plants and hay. I was very excited to watch the show because I like dinosaurs.

Next the amazing show started. The show started with baby dinosaurs. They were as cute as little babies. Some people got to touch them. Then the flying insects came out! They are carnivores, which means they eat meat. They flew around and landed on people’s heads and hands.

After the flying insects there was a large dinosaur. It was smarter, faster and stronger then a t-rex. The host fed it guts, but it was still hungry so it ate a little boy’s head. Then the biggest most enormouse dinosaur came out. It was so big you could only see its’ head.

I had a fun day at the dinosaur show and my favourite part was when the dinosaur came up to me.
